The Northern Beaches Volleyball community is fortunate enough to have VolleyFest 2019 in it’s 5th Edition of the event back on Manly Beach and encompasses a series of Beach Volleyball Events aimed at all levels of the sport and encompasses community involvement.
VolleyFest has become the premier event on the Australian Beach Volleyball Calendar and has supported the athlete pathway for Australian and International athletes to events all over the world including the Tokyo Olympic Games.
This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase international beach volleyball to Australia. It’s also a great opportunity to involve our Junior members in the 10-day long VolleyFest, and for them to see some of the worlds best players up close.
VolleyFest 2019 will be starting on the 1st March 2019. Holding competitions such as Australian Beach Volleyball Tour – Australian Championships, NSW Beach Volleyball Schools Cup and FIVB World Tour 3 star event.
Competition Dates
- Australian Beach Volleyball Tour – Australian Championships – 1st – 3rd March
- NSW Beach Volleyball Schools Cup – 4th March
- FIVB World Tour 3 Star Event – 6th – 10th March
VolleyFest will take up the majority of the courts, and set-up will begin from 21 February 2019.

We’re looking for as many juniors and adults to come and help out in particular those times :
JUNIORS:
– Wednesday 6 March after school 3:00pm – 6:30pm
– Thursday 7 March after school 3:00pm – 6:30pm
– Friday 8 March after school 3:00pm – 6:30pm
– Saturday 9 March for 8:00am – 12:30pm & 12:30pm – 5:00pm
– Sunday 10 March for 8:00am – 12:30pm & 12:30pm – 5:00pm

AGE GROUP (10-15 YEARS, 15-18 YEARS, 18+ YEARS TO COACHES/TEACHERS)
– Wednesday 6 March to Sunday 10 March for All day, Morning 7am-1pm or Afternoon 1-7pm
Roles include: Court helpers (ball boys and girls, raking etc), Court Managers, Font of House (Spectator Services, Information and Ticketing, etc) VIP Service Assistants and Operations Assistants.
