Northern Beaches Volleyball Association is gearing up for the 2019-20 season. One of our initiatives to make things better for the Juniors is to buy new equipment, uniforms and fund NBVA Juniors to attend interstate & National events. To help us raise the money, we are running a fundraising campaign through the Localvolts Communities program.
Localvolts is looking for volunteers for a field trial to help test their electricity market and will pay us $5 for every person who registers via our support page.
There is no cost to you to participate in the Localvolts trial.
What is Localvolts?
Localvolts is a marketplace where ordinary people can buy and sell electricity to and from whomever they choose. For example, if your neighbour has solar panels and doesn’t use it all, you could buy electricity from him or her, or vice versa.
Right now, Localvolts is running a field trial to test their market with real people and real properties and generators, but there is no real money involved. It’s all simulated.

We hope you can help us by spending a few minutes to register as a participant in the Localvolts field trial, and help us to get the kids jumping a little higher this season.
This is pretend only: no money is actually transacted in this trial system nor is anyone switched to a new electricity provider.
For each participant that completes those three steps, Localvolts will pay the NBVA $5 which will go to our Junior Program.
